MTÜ Project Spirit is youth organization, which connects active young people together. Our organization main goal is to promote youth initiative at the local level. We work mainly with young people, but also with youth workers, trainers and teachers and organizations active in non-formal education field and life-long learning. Our members have participated and organized different youth exchanges, seminars and training courses.
- to create opportunities for youth participation and to promote the development of youth initiatives, both locally and internationally
- to raise awareness of society and young people’s need, problems, opportunities
- to develop members leadership, organizational and occupational skills
- to promote voluntary work
- to develop youth entrepreneurship
- to raise awareness of the importance of citizenship and to increase tolerance among different ethnic groups

MTÜ Project Spirit is registered 19th of September 2014 so it is quite young NGO and don ́t have previous accepted projects, but our but our members and volunteers are motivated and with many experiences at local, regional and international level. For example our board members have been working in the field of non-formal education for more than 10 years and have organized trainings for local youth councils about time management, organization message, public speaking, project management and event organization. Members of MTÜ Project Spirit have taken part in several projects in program countries such as Iceland, Georgia, Greece, Spain, Portugal, Turkey, Poland, Finland and so on. It means we make a lot of international cooperation, so we have good background experience in intercultural learning topics and everything which is connected to inclusion youth in our activities. Also we have many experiences in other NGOs. One of us is training commissioner in international youth organization – Estonian Guides organization. The other is board member on Tartu county youth council. Years of organization and experience in youth participation field has brought us together and we have decided to create our own NGO, so we can start organizing our own projects and be send local active young people out for adventures.
