Project Spirit
is looking for participants for a very exciting youth exchange which will take
place in Armavir, Armenia from 24th June to 6th July
(including travel days) funded by the Erasmus + programme of the European
Commission.

Young European people from Estonia, Spain, Armenia, Italy and Poland will gather in a friendly and
non-formal atmosphere to analyze and
discuss the existed gender inequalities. This work will be especially
fruitful by the confrontation with other cultures from Europe, which will help
to reflect and put things into
perspectives from their own societal expectations, see the strengths and
weaknesses of their cultures on gender roles and gender equality, discuss and
learn from each other’s history and cultural realities, in order to break
stereotypes in an intercultural
perspective.
This project will include many
activities based on non-formal and informal education with games, simulation,
workshops, debate, outdoors activities, cultural production of social
advertisement, meeting the community and making interviews and so on.
Participants’ profile:

18-30 years old
·
Willing to open up to others cultures
and to different ways of thinking and living
·
Willing to get involved and to reflect
on him/herself
·
Interested in gender issues and in
inter-cultural learning
·
Strong motivation to participate in
youth exchange and to socialize
·
Interested in using the gained skills
and knowledge for multiplying in their home countries and becoming agents of
change
·
At least basic level in English is
required as the working language will be English
Costs:
Food
and accommodation is 100% covered by the project. The travel costs are partly financed
but extra cost can be required if the travel ticket exceed the amount
established by the European Commission. Insurance is not covered by the
project.
